AVD Ep36: The Geopolitics of Climate Change: Climate’s Issues and Policy Responses
Speaker: Dr. KEO Piseth, Strategic Advisor to the Asian Vision Institute (AVI) and the Director of Vriens & Partners’ Cambodia Office.
Host: CHHOUN Sreynou
It is increasingly said that climate action has become a question of geopolitical competition. Recently, the world has attached importance of the positive development of the resumption of the U.S-China Climate Talks held in July 2023 in Bejing after both major economies suspended the climate negotiations for nearly a year. The US-China cooperation on climate change would have not only bilateral and global benefits prior to the preparations for the upcoming COP28 to be held in November 2023, in Dubai.
In this episode, we will meet with Dr. KEO Piseth, Strategic Advisor to the Asian Vision Institute (AVI) and the Director of Vriens & Partners’ Cambodia Office, as our guest speaker at Asian Vision Dialogue to discuss the climate issues and policy responses, scenarios and pathways and share his profound perspective on the current geopolitics of climate change.
