Topic: The first G20 Development Working Group (DWG) Meeting in Indonesia

G20 is a group consist of 19 countries plus the European Union which together address the global issues ranging from international economy to climate change to sustainable development. This year under the theme ‘Recover Together, Recover Stronger’, Indonesia as the new president of G20 has hosted a series of hybrid seminar, with the First Development Working Group Meeting in Jakarta from 23^rd to 25^th February 2022. In order to address the challenges and the priorities of G20 countries throughout the current critical time, the representatives from the member states including Cambodia as the current ASEAN Chair, international organizations, and experts were invited to participate in the meeting and discussion in Jakarta. 

For the sake of comprehensive understanding of the current affairs of G20, the Asian Vision Dialogue meet with Dr. CHEUNBORAN Chanborey, head of Cambodian G20 DWG and strategic advisor of the Asian Vision Institute, to hear his insights on the agenda of the meeting including the key priorities of the groups as well as the overall assessment of Cambodia’s engagement and G20 roles in the current international affairs.
