Cambodia has placed importance on the foreign policy between the Kingdom and its neighbours. As Vietnam is Cambodia’s neighbour, having a prosperous connection with this country equal to ensuring peace and security of the nation. Thanks to all hard-working efforts and dedication of both countries, the ties between the Cambodia and Vietnam has grown dramatically. For example, earlier this year, the nations demonstrated their commitments toward enhancing cross-border trade by pledging to increase trade volume up to $10 billion.

Besides bilateral relations, Cambodia and Vietnam also join the same multilateral platforms. In the world where competition between superpowers is being dominant, smaller states like Cambodia and Vietnam need to build their closer cooperation and create a unity so that they can resist the any negative consequences in the face of such a fractured world.
