On 28^th October 2021, Brunei Darussalam just officially handed over the ASEAN Chair for 2022 to the Kingdom of Cambodia on the margin of the 38^th and 39^th ASEAN Summits and Related Summit. It is the third time for the Kingdom since its membership in 1999 and this is also the pride and honour of us, as the people of Cambodia, for having received this duty.

However, it seems like our duty this time will more critical and difficult than our previous experience as there are many issues awaiting Cambodia to resolve or take immediate actions. As 2022 is approaching, many questions have been raised on Cambodia’s readiness and potential challenges.

Thus, in the first episode of Asian Vision Dialogue, we will meet our two prominent IR scholars and geopolitics experts, Dr. Chheang Vannarith and Dr. Cheunboran Chanborey, discussing on Cambodia’s Priority as the ASEAN Chair in 2022 and some challenges which Cambodia will have to face and resolve, particularly the situation in Myanmar.
