The Shanghai Cooperation Organisation Summit (SCO Summit) is an annual meeting, which the member states and the dialogue partners states of the organisation convene to discuss about the issues and cooperation among themselves as well as in the region.

This year on 15-16 September, the Summit was organised in Samarkand, Uzbekistan. This in-person Summit took place in a very critical time including Covid-19 pandemic, Ukraine crisis, tension on the issue of Taiwan, and the conflict between some of the member states. The Summit is also one of the first destinations that President Xi Jinping visited after almost three years of not having physical attendance to any events outside China due to Covid-19.

With the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China happens soon, the international community was eyeing the Summit, noticeably, on their physical meetings among the world leaders of China, India and Russia.

The Asian Vision Dialogue, with this opportunity, has the privilege to have Dr. NETH Thida Chanthima to discuss about the Outcomes of SCO Summit and Implications for Cambodia as the dialogue partner to the organisation.
